At present, people are not much aware about the unforgettable role of Sardar Patel, the real architect of modern India . Therefore, in order to make his memories alive the ‘Sardar Patel Award’ has been constituted.
Criteria of Award
The Award will be conferred to those who have actively participated in expansion of Sardar Patel’s Ideas and Ideals. Apart from these in the field of National Unity and Integrity, Media, Industry, The Co-operative movement, Author, Social Work, Film and Theatre, Education, Medical, Valour, the award will be conferred.
The Award Selection Committee of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Foundation will select those dignitary whom the Award will be conferred either on the birth anniversary (31st Oct.) or on the death anniversary (15th Dec.) .The award will be distributed by Hon’ble President, Vice-President, Prime Minister, Home Minister of india, Governor etc. Award will be given every year in future.
